The mineral-thermal water
The natural remedy of Bad Krozingen is its carbon dioxide-rich thermal mineral water.
In addition to its temperature of 38.5°C and a mineral content of more than 4,000 mg per litre, the springs contain 2,200 mg of carbon dioxide per litre, giving them one of the highest carbon dioxide concentrations in Europe.
The mineral-thermal water has a relaxing and regenerating effect. It also stimulates blood circulation. Its healing properties are primarily attributed to the fine carbon dioxide bubbles, which act directly through the skin on the blood vessels and nerves, thereby also supporting heart function.

Just one sip is enough to experience the natural power of this unique water: refreshing, invigorating and distinctive in taste.
A brief history
In 1911, a landmark discovery shaped the history of Bad Krozingen. While searching for oil, explorers struck a flowing thermal spring at a depth of 580 metres, later named the Nena Spring.
This discovery marked the beginning of Bad Krozingen’s development as a spa destination. Over the years, what started as a simple thermal bath evolved into a modern and innovative wellness centre, now renowned for the quality of its facilities, treatments and health services.
