The Gasthaus zur Krone in Bad Krozingen-Biengen is a place full of tradition and history. The restaurant is well-known and popular among the residents of Biengen. Despite various tenants and chefs who have run the inn, it has remained the property of the Sartorius family. Their son Tilman Sartorius grew up with the building and has his very own connection to the inn. After training and working at Wolfshöhle Freiburg with Sascha Weiss, he decided to return to his roots with his partner Marie-Luise Wagner. In 2018, the couple breathed new life into the Gasthaus zur Krone. The Krone now enriches the town with regional and home-style cooking that still bears its very own signature.
